[T]he impact of tax reform stands to be both larger and more durable than many observers realize. This represents one reason to be optimistic about U.S. economic prospects in 2019. Even so, at some point, the demand for new equipment will be largely satiated, meaning that even tax reform will not be enough to support perpetual economic growth.
