Marcum’s Anson Augustine Named Outstanding CPA
New York City, NY – Anson J. Augustine, CPA, a Partner with national accounting firm Marcum LLP, has been named Top Accountant Under 40 by Westchester County Business Journal. A life-long resident of New Rochelle, Mr. Augustine practices in the Assurance Services Department of Marcum’s New York City office and principally serves clients in the tri-state area.
Mr. Augustine is being honored as part of the Journal’s inaugural awards program for outstanding CPAs in Westchester and the Hudson Valley. The program, Beyond the Bottom Line: Conscientious, Proficient, Accomplished CPAs, is presented by People’s United Bank. He will receive his award on November 17 at Manhattanville College.
Mr. Augustine works with publicly traded and privately held companies in numerous industries, providing services related to SEC compliance, as well as mergers and acquisitions and complex accounting and reporting issues. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He also volunteers with the Eastchester Volunteer Ambulance Corps (EVAC). He joined Marcum in 2003. Mr. Augustine holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fordham University, as well as a Master of Science in Human Resources from Hofstra University.
