Lawrence Epstein is a senior advisor in the Firm’s Advisory Services division. He represents numerous clients, both individuals and businesses, in connection with tax planning and compliance, general accounting, management consulting, and IRS matters. He additionally provides litigation support services and has testified as an expert witness in Miami-Dade and Broward County Circuit Courts, U.S. Bankruptcy Court and Volusia County Circuit Court in matters concerning general economic damages, lost profits damages, business valuations, economic feasibility studies, and forensic examinations. He has been involved in many forensic examinations, shareholder and partner disputes, general accounting and tax issues.

Lawrence was a founding partner of Berger Epstein & Garber, P.A., a leading South Florida CPA firm specializing in bankruptcy, forensic accounting, valuations, eminent domain, and lost profits. The Firm joined Marcum, in 2009. Prior to starting Berger Epstein & Garber PA in 1978, Lawrence was the comptroller of two real estate companies. In addition, he was a partner in two New York public accounting firms where he was responsible for all major engagements and dealing with matters relating to real estate, SEC offerings, brokerage firm audits, general systems analysis and installation, and management advisory services for industrial, professional, and entertainment industry clients.
