Michael D. Messina is a Director in the Firm’s Technology Assurance Services Practice group providing guidance to Firm professionals and clients on technical accounting and reporting issues. He has an in-depth knowledge of GAAP and SEC filing requirements and is responsible for training and updating personnel with compliance policies.
Mr. Messina joined the Firm in 2007 and has more than 25 years of financial and operational experience with profit and loss management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and funding strategies. His demonstrated track record of growing, controlling and financing high-growth dynamic operations is complemented by his strong technical background in regulatory reporting.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Messina worked for an international public consulting firm and served as the Chief Financial Officer for a Fortune 500 professional services firm. During his tenure as a Senior Audit Manager with an international public accounting firm, he completed the IPO and secondary offering for a leading internet job board.
