Paul J. Graney is a Director in the Firm’s Boston office and is a member of its National Construction Industry group and State and Local Tax Practice group. Mr. Graney has more than 20 years of multistate tax experience with the government and delivering state local tax services to corporate enterprises.
Mr. Graney specializes in multistate corporate income, sales/use, meals tax and personal income tax examinations and appeals. He has a strong focus on handling state tax controversy and developments throughout the New England area.
Mr. Graney joined the Firm in 2006. As the former Tax Director at a large, local multifaceted construction company, he was responsible for all facets of the company’s taxes. He also was the State and Local Tax Practice Leader at a large international firm. Earlier in his career, he was the Chief of Audit at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. He was responsible for the field audit activities of over 650 auditors and administrative personnel.
